This is a series of classes offered to help individuals on their journey to spiritual maturity and commitment to this congregation. Each class builds on the previous one so we encourage you to take all three in order, though this is not a requirement.

We believe that you must first be committed to membership in a church family and committed to the habits for spiritual maturity before you are ready for ministry. Membership and Maturity are the foundation for Ministry.

In Discovering My Membership #101, Father Desmond will go over the biblical model of the church and the basics of the Episcopal Church and what becoming a member of St. Cuthbert is all about. If you have just started visiting St. Cuthbert or you have been a member for years, this class will be a light hearted look at who we are as a church family.

In Discovering Spiritual Maturity #201, you will hear from several different speakers discussing some of the basics of spiritual maturity including time with God’s Word, stewardship, fellowship, and prayer. Please consider investing a day of your life to discover new ways to strengthen your commitment to learning more about God’s Word and desires of your life. The next 201 Class will be rescheduled in the upcoming months so watch for announcements on the next date.

In Discovering My Spiritual Gifts #301, we will work on discovering who God made you to be and what ministry is all about. We believe that once you understand who God made you to be, then you’ll understand what God made you to do.
