Christian Formation classes take place every Sunday at 9:10 for all ages. We believe that Christian Formation is a lifelong venture that broadens and deepens our faith and knowledge. We seek to offer meaningful Formation programs for every stage of life.
The goal of Christian Formation is not just to obtain information, but to be transformed into the image of Christ based on the truth we learn and experience as well as to fellowship with others along the way.
Children's Church 8:00 and 10:30
Children’s Church is held at both Sunday services for those ages four through second grade. Children’s Church makes the gospel accessible to children on developmentally appropriate terms. It is a pint size worship service for wiggle-age youngsters while parents are participating in church. Children sing songs, recite a creed, participate in prayers, offer their talents and treasures, and get involved in a Bible story. They follow the children’s cross during the processional and return to their parents halfway through the service, during the exchange of the peace.
Our Youth Group is a place for junior high and high school youth to grow in their relationship with Christ and see his love in action; a place to build friendships that are rooted in Christ; encouraging, supportive, and lasting, It is a community that builds the Kingdom of God through Bible study, prayer, service, worship, and fun. The Youth meet on Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings.
In addition to worship and Sunday Christian Formation classes, we believe young people are formed into godly adults by participation in church-sponsored events. Experiencing the faith journey side-by-side with parishioners of all ages is essential to building the kingdom of God- Together. Typically offered monthly, special events may include Lego Night, Cookies and Carols, going to the movies, Mother-Son Date Night, Father-Daughter Dance and much more.
