Dirt
from the yards of current and former parishioners was placed at
the foot of the cross in an affirmation of our personal and corporate
surrender to Christ. Dirt from our current and past locations was also
offered. |

The Rt. Rev. Rayford High broke ground, saying:
Therefore, I break ground for this building, in the Name of
the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
May the Gospel be preached,
the Sacraments administered,
and prayers and praises offered in this place,
from generation to generation. Amen. |
