The Music Ministry Our Minister of Music is Barbara Adams. |

f you are looking for an exciting blend of traditional and contemporary worship music, then St. Cuthbert may be for you! It is not uncommon to have trumpets and timpani on a processional hymn and a full praise band with singers expressing their worship in songs from the latest contemporary Christian music charts during the Offertory. Our choir joins with the praise band to drive the musical presence as they both lead and minister to our congregation in worship and song.
Three times a year we also offer energetic children’s choir venues as well as an adult/student worship band on Christmas Eve so our busy singers and instrumentalists also have an opportunities to learn and love the music of the faith. Don't miss our Easter tradition of closing the service with volunteers from the congregation joinging the choir at the front of the Sanctuary in singing Handel's The Hallelujah Chorus from The Messiah.
Having been affirmed again and again, especially by our visitors and newcomers, the Music Ministry continues to be one of the many St. Cuthbert traditions that makes us unique and serves to bring people back to learn more about the One we worship. We invite you to come and experience the transforming power and accepting love of Jesus Christ as we worship together. You will leave with a song in your heart to the Lord!
Our band is comprised of Randy Adams (electric guitar, acoustic guitar, synthesizer, trumpet), Natalie Johnson (piano), Russel Mahon (percussion), Harry Oschenbein (electric guitar), Marty Scarpati (acoustic guitar), and Jim Thompson (bass). The choir consists of Erin Alderson, Donna Allen, Dianne Glasson, Eku Gooding-Killen, and Laura Reid (soprano); Lynda Houghton, Maggie Hubert, and Sylvia Newby (alto); Eddie Araguz, Nguyen Chau, Mark Doing, and Sue McLean (tenor); and Bill Etter, Mike Glasson, and Gary Smith (bass).

| Visit www.CuthbertPraise.com for information on available arrangements of Episcopal hymns prepared by our own Randy Adams. Randy writes the arrangements for many of the songs offered at St. Cuthbert. Be sure to look for Randy at the upcoming 2008 Diocesan Convention in Galveston, Texas, where he and his brass ensemble will be adding to the celebration through music offered at the opening Holy Eucharist worship service. Many of Randy's arrangements and descants will be used at this service. | ![]() |
