In this episode of Cuthbert Conversations, Amy Hawkins, St. Cuthbert’s Vacation Bible School director, joins Fr. Sunil to reflect on planting seeds of faith through teaching, service, and welcome. A former high school English teacher, Amy shares how her years in the classroom and her own faith journey shaped her desire to meet people with love and without judgment.

She introduces the “Rainforest Falls: Exploring the Nature of God” VBS theme and her hope that every child will carry a lasting memory of God’s love. Grounded in the parable of the sower, their conversation celebrates the many ways volunteers and everyday acts of kindness help faith take root.
