Our Children’s Ministry strives to provide fun and meaningful activities each Sunday that feature a Bible Story, Music, Art, and Role Playing.
Our goal is to help each child:
Our gifted storytellers make the Bible stories come alive!
“Grow in the grace and knowledge of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.” –2 Peter 3:18
ST. CUTHBERT CHILDREN’S MINISTRY welcomes your questions and would love to visit with you about helping nurture the spiritual growth of our St. C KIDS! CONTACT: Candy Tannous; call or text 281-768-0621; or stckids@stcuthbert.org. Or, call the church office at 281-463-7330.
Mr. Steve demonstrates Jesus’ words to Jerusalem when He said how He had wished to gather the people to Him as a mother hen gathers her chicks under her wings.
After hearing the story, the children often re-enact what they have just heard. At right is the cast for “The Parable of the Good Samaritan.”
We want to emphasize that God loves you more than you know and will never let you go.
The children create artwork that reinforces the lesson and is often a way for them to return home and share the lesson with their parents.
JOIN US FOR BIBLE ADVENTURES!
Each Sunday at our 10:00 service, children (age 5-11) are invited to join the procession into the Sanctuary behind the small wooden cross and go to classrooms nearby. Children in the Nursery (age 2-4) may also join us for a BIBLE ADVENTURE LESSON often based on the Gospel reading for the Sunday.
We sing, pray, and make a simple craft. The older children return to the sanctuary in time for communion with their families. Younger children return to the Nursery.
