Canon Dr. Josh Ritter

September 21, 2026

In this episode of Cuthbert Conversations, Fr. Sunil welcomes Canon Dr. Josh Ritter, canon for formation in the Episcopal Diocese of Texas, to explore how faith takes shape in everyday life. Josh describes Christian formation as a lifelong practice of following Jesus, nurtured through prayer, worship, relationships, and small moments of faithful action.

Their conversation considers how truly knowing our neighbors requires compassionate listening, curiosity, and a willingness to see beyond division. Drawing on Jesus’ call to love our neighbors as ourselves, Josh invites us to approach communication as a spiritual practice and to build communities where people belong. The episode reminds us that discipleship grows as the faith we profess becomes visible in the way we live.
