Bishop Fisher

September 28, 2026

In this episode of Cuthbert Conversations, Fr. Sunil welcomes Bishop Fisher for a conversation about calling, stewardship, and sharing the good news of Jesus. The bishop reflects on his journey from a career in finance into ordained ministry and the encouragement of a small Bible study group that helped him recognize God’s call.

Together, they explore the importance of lay ministry, one-to-one relationships, and mentoring across generations. Bishop Fisher also shares what confirmation can mean as a public affirmation of faith and an invitation to join in proclaiming the resurrection. Their conversation encourages us to consider the gifts God has entrusted to us and how those gifts can bear fruit through welcome, generosity, and service.
